The Gift of Uplifting Peace

I met with my valued assistant and project manager, Christy, to review all of the many remaining steps we need to take to succesfully publish and market my new book, Aha! Moments: When Intellect and Intuition Collide. While I’m excited to be sharing this work, I confess to feeling overwhelmed after our meeting. Combined with the holiday rush that always seems to occur despite my best intentions, I was truly on overload by the end of the day. Does this sound familiar?

If you’re like me, you’re probably buried under a mound of “to-do’s” for work and home, with a heavy added load of holiday to-do’s. Our natural inclination, especially if raised with a strong work ethic, is to roll up our sleeves and push our way through our list, exhausting ourselves in the process.  There is a better way, and I reminded myself of it late yesterday. When we’re overwhelmed, it can be so hard to talk ourselves into doing this. Action can give us a seductive feeling of being in control and on top of things.

What is “it?” Peace and quiet of course! Deliberately turning away from the entire list of to-do’s and sitting quietly can reconnect you with a very special type of peace — uplifting peace. Uplifting peace is the gift we give ourselves when we take time to reconnect with our inner wisdom and the energy flow of the universe. Sounds woo-woo, but it’s simply acknowledging that everything is energy and the power of your focused energy on visualizing a positive outcome of all of your to-do’s smooths the way for their quick completion.

Uplifting peace is the peace that comes when we trust and know that all that we need is coming to us at the right time and in the right way. To help you experience that blissful peace, I’m offering my monthly Envision Your Way to Success Tele-Class FREE on Tuesday evening, December 9th at 7pm Central. Check out my website to sign up.  This is a chance to harness the power of your imagination and inner wisdom to experience the gift of uplifting peace. I hope you’ll accept my gift.
